Dan Aaron, born in 1973, went to high school in Arkansas and later earned a Ph.D. from the Uni­versity of St. Gallen in Switzer­land. In his former life as an Army officer, he served as an infantry battalion commander and as division G3, among other things. He has also held a number of leadership positions in both the private sector and academia. An avid reader with a passion for books, he enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active through sports, and being with family and friends. In addition to writing, he works as a business professor.
